First Time In Berlin

Last but not least, ending our trip in the hipster German capital.

Day 1: We were lucky enough to have 5 sunny days in Berlin, in the middle of October. Since it was the last destination for our trip, we took things easy and enjoyed this perfect weather. We started the day with a guided tour, then we went to the Mitte and Hackescher Market, and finished with a long but successful shopping mission in Primark.

Day 2: In the morning we went to the Market near our hotel, and then to the Pergamon Museum, Lunch at Santa Maria and a tour of the Reichstag building.

Day 3: Breakfast at Zeit fur Brot, Mauerpark Market, East Side Gallery and RAW-Gelande.

The Mauerpark Market is really huge, and you can easily spend a few hours over there, but be aware it's only open on the weekends.

Day 4: Shopping day! There's not much to it, we spend the day shopping - vintage clothes by the kilo in a shop called Garage, Bikini Berlin Mall, Urban Outfitters, Lush and more. We also had breakfast at Cafe Einstein and finished the day at Monkey Bar.

Day 5: Last day! It was kind of a chill day, we went to Alexanderplatz, took pictures with the fall leaves, visited Konig Gallery and ate dinner in an excellent Italian restaurant. Then we took our luggage and headed to the airport for one last flight.

I'm so happy I got to travel to so many beautiful places this year, and also to share it over here. I hope you enjoyed this travel Journal and that it was helpful to you. Check out my Amsterdam and London blog posts if you missed them.
